You’ve been waiting and it’s finally here…You’re chance to show the world how awesome you are!

The Loft is hosting  Open Mic Nights the first Friday night of every month starting FEBRUARY 4^TH!!

This Open Mic Night is to support and promote up and coming artists in many genres, so we are requiring that all entries be original work. (There’s more about that in the detailed info!)

Pre-Register by sending your name and contact info, plus a copy of any lyrics for approval (No crude, disrespectful, profane, or racist material will be accepted) to shane@verticalcommunity.org .

AND if you aren’t an artist, but are more of an ‘art’ lover, The Loft is the place to come soak it in. Barnesville now has it’s very own Indie Music Scene every First Friday Night and needs supporters!  Come support our local artists and help spread the word about Barnesville’s hippest new venue.

Open Mic Night Guidelines and Info

* No crude, profane, disrespectful, or racist material will be permitted.

*Any one exhibiting behaviors such as above mentioned will be asked to leave immediately.

*All applicants must respect the art of their fellow entrants and show respect during performances.

*All material submitted must be original work, either your own or someone else’s from whom you have gained documented permission to use. Our goal is to give local artists an opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities, not to advertise or promote individual, commercialized artists. Please submit permission along with entry.

*Entry Fees:  suggested donation $5

(A registration is “late” if it is received after the cut off of Thursday at 11:59pm prior to relative Open Mic Night. No online entries will be accepted on the Friday of Open Mic Night . They must register on site starting at 6:30pm and will be subject to a “late” entry fee. All time slots are First Come First Serve.)
